CAFE DIABLE 
2 tbsp. sugar
5 oz. dark rum or brandy
2 orange twists
10 whole cloves
2 (1 inch) cinnamon sticks
5 c. strong, hot coffee

Place all ingredients except coffee in a chafing dish. Heat gently, stirring constantly. Ignite and let burn one minute. Slowly add coffee. Ladle into cups. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
