UNIQUE HALWA (HALVAH) 
1/2 maida (white flour)
1/2 sago (sabudana or tapioca pearls)
2/3 corn flour
4 cups sugar
1/3 cup ghee (clarified butter)
2 ml rose essence
colour your choice of red, green, yellow (optional)

Soak Sabudana in a pot for a minimum 8 hours. Combine maida (white flour) and corn flour. Soak in a pot for a minimum of 8 hours. Melt ghee in a pan, add all the soaked ingredients and sugar. Stir, add food colouring and mix. Put the pot in a cool place.

Cut into desired size serving portions.
