SPICY POT ROAST 
4 lb. beef pot roast
2 c. water
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 clove garlic
1 med. onion, sliced
1-2 bay leaves
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. paprika
2-3 whole allspice
1/4 c. red wine

Place meat in a heavy roasting pan. Mix remaining ingredients and pour over meat. Cover pan and bake at 325 degrees for about 3 hours or until tender. Baste meat with sauce 2-3 times. Remove garlic and bay leaves before serving. I have thickened the broth and served this with noodles. Serves 8.
