MINCEMEAT EASTER BREAD 
1 1/2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs, slightly beaten
3 tbsp. shortening, melted and cooled
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. mincemeat
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Sift dry ingredients into a bowl. In a smaller bowl combine eggs, shortening, and vanilla. Stir in mincemeat and nuts. Pour into dry ingredients and stir enough only to moisten flour.
