YUM YUM CAKE 
4 c. cold water
1 box seedless raisins
4 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. allspice
1 egg (large)
2 c. sugar
3/4 c. Mazola oil
5 c. all purpose flour (unsifted)
1 lg. jar cherries, chopped and drained
2 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. vanilla

Boil water and raisins for 3 minutes. Cool. Add all ingredients, one at a time and mix with wooden spoon. Grease 10 inch tube pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
