SPANISH PORK CHOPS 
4 pork chops
1 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 lg. can canned stewed tomatoes
1/4 tsp. salt
1 box Beef Rice-A-Roni

Four pork chops seasoned with 1/4 teaspoon salt. Brown in 1 tablespoon oil (vegetable). Remove from skillet. Add Beef Rice-A-Roni to fat left in skillet and brown. (Add additional butter if necessary). Make a broth with contents of envelope in 2 1/4 measuring cups boiling water. Add the broth to the browned Rice-A-Roni.

Then add 4 cups (1 large can) canned stewed tomatoes. Stir. Return chops to skillet and cover. Simmer without further stirring until meat is tender and liquid absorbed, approximately 35-45 minutes.

Serves 4.
