OLD TIME BUTTERMILK PIE 
1 (9 inch) unbaked pie shell
1/2 c. Borden's butter
2 c. sugar
3 rounded tbsp. flour
3 Borden's eggs, beaten
1 c. Borden's buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
Dash of nutmeg (optional)

Have butter soft; add sugar; cream together well. Add flour and eggs; beat well. Stir in buttermilk, vanilla and nutmeg.

Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake for 45-50 minutes at 350 degrees. Place on wire rack to cool completely before serving.
