PECAN TARTS 
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
2 egg yolks
2 c. flour, sifted
1 tsp. almond extract

Mix butter and sugar, stir in egg yolks, almond flavoring and flour. Press evenly into tiny tart shells. Bake at 400 degrees for 8-10 minutes.

FILLING:

1/2 c. butter
1/3 c. dark corn syrup
1 c. confectioners' sugar

Bring to a boil. Stir in 1 cup chopped pecans. Spoon into shells. top with pecan halves.
