BEEF BRISKET 
3 1/2 lb. brisket

Rub brisket with salt and pepper.

SAUCE:

1 c. Open Pit Barbecue Sauce
2 tsp. liquid smoke
2 tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 (12 oz.) bottle ginger ale
Garlic powder

Simmer with salt and pepper until tender (use meat thermometer). Chill well. Remove fat and fiber. Cut in 1/4 slices but keep in position. Mix sauce well and pour over meat. Bake at 275 degrees for 2 hours. Separate slice to sauce penetrates.
