PEACHY HAM SLICES | |
4 slices pre-cooked ham (1/2 to 3/4 inch thick) 1 lb. can sliced peaches, undrained 2 tbsp. sugar 2 tsp. cornstarch 1/8 tsp. nutmeg 1/2 c. orange juice 1 tbsp. lemon juice 1 tbsp. butter Drain peaches; reserve 1/2 cup syrup; set aside. Combine and mix sugar, cornstarch, and nutmeg. Add peach syrup, orange juice, lemon juice; stir lump free. Melt butter in skillet; brown ham on both sides. Remove ham from skillet and keep warm. Add cornstarch mixture to skillet; cook until thickened and clear, stirring constantly. Add ham and peaches; heat thoroughly. |
