BUTTERFINGERS 
1 stick butter
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. plain flour
1 c. chopped nuts

Cream the butter; add sugar and vanilla. Mix in the flour and nuts (I use pecans). Roll out into fingers. Place on a nonstick cookie sheet and bake at 300°F for 30 minutes. Take out and roll in powdered sugar while warm. Be very careful as they will break easily.

Makes about 2 dozen.
