FRESH APPLE CAKE 
BATTER:

1 1/4 c. liquid oil
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
3 c. flour
3 c. peeled chopped apples
1 c. chopped nuts
2 tsp. vanilla

Blend oil and sugar. Sift dry ingredients. Add to oil and sugar mixture. Beat eggs. Add to batter. Add vanilla, apples and nuts. Grease and flour large tube pan or bundt pan at 250 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Let cool and invert. Add topping.

TOPPING:

1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 stick butter
1/4 c. evaporated milk

Cook ingredients to full boil. Beat and let cool. Spread on Apple Cake.
