FRESH APPLE CAKE 
1 1/2 c. cooking oil
2 eggs, slightly beaten
3 c. chopped apples
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. raisins

Combine oil and eggs. Blend. Add apples and sugar. Sift dry ingredients. Add to apple mixture. Pour into greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 1/2 hours.

GLAZE:

1 stick butter
1 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. evaporated milk

Mix and cook 2 1/2 minutes. Pour over cake while hot. Stick holes in cake with fork so glaze will soak into cake.
