SPICY PORK CHOPS | |
8 thick, boneless pork chops 2 (12 oz. ea.) bottles Louisiana Crystal hot sauce seasoned salt (Lawry's) brown sugar, for sprinkling Take chops out and let them warm to room temperature. Preheat oven to 350°F. Once chops are at room temperature or close to it, lightly season with seasoned salt on both sides and set on a paper towel. Pour one bottle of hot sauce in the bottom of a glass baking dish and arrange chops so that they are not overlapping each other. Pour the last bottle of hot sauce on top of chops and sprinkle with a decent amount of brown sugar (the more sugar the less spicy). Place in oven and bake at 350°F about 25 to 30 minutes, or to your likeness. Serve with creamy mac 'n cheese and a vegetable of choice (I recommend a peas and corn mixture). Submitted by: J.W. |
