CHOCOLATE MARSHMALLOW BROWNIES | |
2 sticks butter 3 sq. chocolate 4 eggs 2 c. sugar 1 1/2 c. sifted flour 1 heaping tsp. baking powder 2 tsp. vanilla 1 c. nuts 1 pkg. miniature marshmallows Melt 2 sticks butter and chocolate squares. Beat eggs in large bowl. Add 2 cups sugar; mix well. Add butter and chocolate, flour, baking powder, vanilla and nuts. Bake at 325 degrees for 25-30 minutes. (Better to underbake than overcook.) Put 1 package of miniature marshmallows over top while cake is hot. TOPPING: 1 stick butter 3 sq. chocolate 1 sm. can evaporated milk 1 c. sugar 1 pkg. confectioners sugar While hot, melt butter, chocolate, milk, and sugar. Cook until melted. Add 1 package confectioners sugar. Beat well. Pour over marshmallows immediately. Cut into squares. This is best made up ahead and let set overnight. Can be frozen. Use large pan to cook. These are a little trouble, but worth it. You'll agree!! |
