CHOCOLATE SURPRISE CUPCAKES 
3 c. flour
2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. cocoa
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
2/3 c. oil
2 c. water
2 tbsp. vinegar
2 tsp. vanilla

FILLING:

8 oz. cream cheese
1 egg
1/3 c. white sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
6 oz. chocolate chips

FROSTING:

1 lb. box powdered sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/3 c. (2/3 stick) soft butter

Cupcakes: Combine flour, sugar, cocoa, salt and soda. Add oil, water vinegar and vanilla. Mix well. Fill cupcake papers 2/3 full of above mixture.

Filling: Mix cream cheese, egg, sugar, and salt until creamy and fluffy. Add chocolate chip mixture into each cupcake. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Frost with buttercream frosting when cool.

Frosting: combine all frosting ingredients in order listed. Beat until smooth and creamy. Frost cupcakes.
