TERRY'S POTATO SOUP 
5-6 lg. potatoes, peeled and cubed
1 med. onion, diced
4 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp. flour
1 c. or more grated cheese (cheddar)
1 c. milk
1 tsp. sweet basil
1 tsp. parsley
Seasoned salt
Pepper

Boil potatoes and onions together until soft enough to mash. Before mixture is completely cooked, begin making cheese sauce; melt butter in saucepan. Add flour gradually. Add milk, stirring and gradually add cheese. Add sauce to mashed potato and onion mixture. Add more milk and/or water to desired consistency. Add seasoning. Cook 20 minutes or more, stirring occasionally.
