RHUBARB SAUCE 
4 c. rhubarb
3/4 - 1 c. sugar

Wash and cut rhubarb into 1 inch pieces. Add water about 1/2 inch deep. Cover and simmer until tender. Add sugar and again bring to boil. A drop or two of red food coloring may be added.
