BANANA NUT BREAD 
1/3 c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 3/4 c. sifted flour
1 c. mashed bananas
1/2 c. chopped walnuts

Preheat oven to 350. Cream together shortening and sugar. Add eggs and beat well. Sift together dry ingredients; add to creamed mixture, alternating with bananas, blending well after each addition. Stir in nuts. Pour into well greased pan.

Bake 30 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
