BROWN SUGAR ICE CREAM 
4 whole eggs
1 lb. dark brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 qt. milk, scalded
1 qt. half & half or milk
1/2 pt. whipping cream

Beat eggs and add sugars and cornstarch. Add scalded milk and cook, stirring constantly, until it coats the spoon heavily. Let cool and then add the rest of the milk and cream. This fills a 1-gallon freezer.
