EASY POUND CAKE 
2 c. all-purpose flour
2 c. sugar
1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
1 tsp. each: vanilla, almond and lemon flavoring
5 eggs

Mix all ingredient and spoon into greased and floured Bundt pan. Bake at 350°F for about 1 hour.

I don't know about all these rave reviews but as an experienced baker of 40 years this cake misses the mark. Five eggs made it taste like egg bread, even the kitchen smelled like eggs when it was baking. Then flour with no baking powder or soda? I cut one slice, my husband and I both ate a bite and threw it in the trash. Sorry, but only being honest.

Love making this cake. Best recipe of pound cake and can you believe it is so simple. Tried it several times and always comes out amazing and moist.
Ingredients have to be room temperature, and as someone else stated before, mix butter and sugar first, and then eggs, and the rest follows.

Easy breezy anyone can make this awesome pound cake. My go to quick recipe. On the road very frequently in our motor home and don't always have the all the flavorings. So the last time I substituted 3 teaspoons of pure maple syrup for the vanilla, almond, and lemon flavors. It was super delicious and I am sure I will do this again next time! Thank you.

Super simple recipe resulting in delicious moist pound cake. Even my 4 year old loves making this cake. I have made this cake 4 times and it ALWAYS comes out moist. The only thing I added to the recipe is 1/2 cup of yogurt since I didn't have sour cream. EVERYONE SIMPLY LOVES THIS POUND CAKE.

I added one small box of lemon instant pudding to the recipe and took the cake out in 45 minutes and the outside was still a little on the crunchy side... So next time I'm taking it out at 40 minutes. Other than that its a great easy pound cake. Thanks!
