CHEESY TACO CASSEROLE 
2 c. elbow macaroni, cooked & drained
1 1/2 lbs. hamburger, cooked & drained
1 (1 1/4 oz.) pkg. taco seasoning mix
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (15 oz.) can chili beans (optional)
1/4 c. milk
2 1/2 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
1 can French fried onions

Brown meat in large skillet. Pour off fat. Add taco mix, tomato sauce and beans. Simmer 5 minutes. Stir milk and 2 cups of cheese into cooked, hot, drained macaroni. In greased 3 quart dish layer 1/2 of macaroni and 1/2 of meat sauce and 1/2 can of onions. Repeat layers. Bake uncovered 20 to 25 minutes. To serve, top with lettuce and tomato. Serves 8 to 10.
