ITALIAN SPAGHETTI 
2 lbs. ground meat
2 large cans whole tomatoes
4 sm. cans of tomato sauce
1/2 cup red wine (like Marsala)
2 lg. onions
5 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp. dried basil or 2 tbsp. fresh, minced
1/2 tsp. dried oregano
2 green peppers
2 1 lb. pkg. spaghetti (reg. size cut into small sections)
hot pepper flakes, to taste
salt and black pepper, to taste
garlic powder, to taste

Brown meat add chopped onions and pepper. Then add tomatoes, tomato sauce, and seasonings. Simmer until done (about 1 hour). Cook spaghetti according to package directions (al denté). Add meat sauce.

Cover with grated cheese and bake. This freezes well.

Makes 5 or 6 servings.
