REFRIGERATOR YEAST ROLLS | |
2 pkg. yeast 1/2 c. warm water 2 c. buttermilk 1 tsp. baking soda 3 tsp. baking powder 1/2 c. sugar 1/2 c. oil 1 tsp. salt About 5 c. flour Put yeast in warm water and let it dissolve. Put the yeast mixture into a large bowl. Add milk, soda, baking powder, salt, sugar and oil. Stir in enough flour to make a stiff dough. Put in refrigerator and cover. When you are ready, take out of refrigerator and punch down. Take only what you want to use. Put the rest back in refrigerator, covered until you want to make more rolls. The part you took out, put on a floured paper and knead well. Shape into rolls and put into a greased pan, let rise. Bake in a 400 degree oven for about 10-12 minutes. |
