DROP GINGER COOKIES 
1/2 c. shortening
1/3 c. sugar
1 c. molasses
2 tbsp. milk
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tbsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. cloves
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg

Cream sugar and shortening. Add dry ingredients alternately with molasses and milk. Drop on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes.
