6 eggs
2 c. sugar
2 c. cake flour, sifted
1 c. Crisco
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. almond extract

Combine all ingredients and beat well, about 10 minutes. Pour batter into a greased and floured tube pan or 2 loaf pans. Place in a cold oven and set temperature at 300 degrees. Bake about 1 1/2 hours in tube pan and about 1 1/4 hours in the loaf pans. Top with be crunchy.
