CHOCOLATE UPSIDE DOWN CAKE 
1 c. sifted flour
3/4 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
4 1/2 tsp. cocoa
1/2 c. milk
2 tbsp. melted butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Combine dry ingredients. Add milk, butter, vanilla, and nuts. Mix well. Pour into greased 8 x 8 pan. Sprinkle over this batter a well blended mixture of 1/2 cup white sugar, 1/2 cup brown sugar, and 1/2 cup cocoa. Pour over this mixture 1 cup of boiling water. Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees. During baking, the cake comes to the top and a delicious chocolate sauce forms on the bottom. Serve WARM - plain or with whipped cream.
