CHINESE COLESLAW SALAD 
2 c. shredded cabbage
8 to 10 green top onions
8 oz. fresh mushrooms, sliced
Can water chestnuts, drained

Mix together and refrigerate.

Just before serving, mix:

1 c. mayonnaise (not salad dressing)
2 tbsp. soy sauce
2 c. chow mein noodles
