GERMAN CHEESE PIE 
1 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 c. sugar
1 stick butter
1 egg

Sift flour and baking powder. Add sugar and butter to dry ingredients. Add egg. Mix well. Do not roll. Work out with hand.

FILLING:

16 oz. cream cheese, room temperature
1 tbsp. sifted flour
2 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Cinnamon

Mix all ingredients together. Pour into crust. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes. Cool.

I received this recipe years ago and make it for all my holiday desserts. a couple of changes: let the butter sit at room temperature for a while. dont let it get too soft or the pie dough will be too soft. for the filling use a blender. it will make the filling very airy. Once you pour the filling into the crust sprinkle the cinnamon on stop and using a knife swirl it thru to make a design. Its tastes great the 2nd day with a cold glass of milk.
