CHOCOLATE FUDGE FROSTING (FOR
SHEET CAKE)
 
1/4 c. butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 box confectioner's sugar
5 to 6 tbsp. evaporated milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts (optional)

In saucepan bring butter, cocoa and milk to a boil. In mixing bowl add powdered sugar and nuts. Pour hot cocoa mixture. Beat well with mixer. Add vanilla and beat again until well blended. More powdered sugar can be added if mixture is not thick enough. Spread on while cake and frosting ate still warm. Frosting will harden like fudge. (Try with mint flavoring or rum flavoring instead of vanilla.)
