8 slices bacon, sliced 3 c. minced onion 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes 3/4 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper 1 lb. frankfurters In large skillet, fry bacon and onion until bacon is crisp and onion is tender. Drain all but 2 tablespoons bacon drippings from skillet. Stir in tomatoes, salt and pepper. Heat to boiling, reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes. Stir occasionally. Add frankfurters, cover and simmer 15 minutes. |
