HOT MULLED CIDER 
4 qts. apple cider
1 c. brown sugar
9 whole cloves
9 whole allspice
4 cinnamon sticks
2 lemons and oranges

Tie in a cheesecloth bag the cloves, allspice and cinnamon. Place in a large bottle with cider and sugar. Simmer for 5 minutes. Before serving, remove the spice bag. Serve in mugs and float orange or lemon slices in each.
