HOT MULLED CIDER 
1 gallon apple cider
3 (3 inch) cinnamon sticks
Lemon peel
3 tsp. whole cloves
3 1/2 tsp. ground allspice

Combine all ingredients and bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes. Serve.

Optional: Add 1/2 cup rum per quart of cider or 1 shot per glass.
