CARAMEL ICE CREAM DESSERT 
1/2 c. oatmeal
2 c. flour
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 sticks melted butter
1 c. chopped nuts
1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream
Butterscotch topping

Mix first 5 ingredients. Spread on cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes. Crumble and then cool. Spread one-half in 9 x 13 inch pan and drizzle with one-half of butterscotch topping. Spread ice cream. Put on remaining crumbs and butterscotch. Place in freezer. Can be done day before.
