CARRIE'S GINGER SNAPS 
1 1/2 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
8 tbsp. molasses
4 c. flour
4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tbsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon

Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs and molasses. Sift and add dry ingredients. Roll into small balls and roll in sugar. Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
