HERBED PEA SALAD 
2 (10 oz.) pkgs. frozen peas, cooked and drained
1/2 c. chopped celery
1/4 c. chopped green onion
1/4 c. chopped pimento
1 env. buttermilk-style herb dressing mix
1 c. mayonnaise or salad dressing
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 c. cubed cheese with peppers (8 oz.)
2 hard cooked eggs, sliced
1 c. cheese-flavored or herb-flavored croutons

In a large bowl, mix peas, celery, green onion, and pimento. In a small bowl, mix dressing mix, mayonnaise or salad dressing, and buttermilk. Beat with a whisk until smooth. Pour salad dressing over vegetables.

Add 2 cups cubed cheese, 2 hard cooked eggs and 1 cup croutons just before serving.
