RUSSIAN VEGETABLE PIE 
1 sm. head cabbage
1/2 lb. mushrooms
1 sm. yellow onion
Basil, marjoram, tarragon, salt & pepper to taste
3 tbsp. butter
1 (4 oz.) cream cheese, softened
4 to 5 hard boiled eggs
Dill

Prepare a pie crust (with enough extra for a top too). Melt the butter and saute' the vegetables adding herbs. Spread the cream cheese in bottom of pie shell. Arrange the sliced eggs over the cream cheese, sprinkle with dill. Then cover with saute'ed vegetables. Cover with a circle of pastry. Bake in 400 degree oven for 15 minutes. Then turn down to 350 degrees and bake another 20 to 25 minutes until golden and beautiful.
