PORK CHOPS SUPREME WITH FRIED
APPLES
 
4 pork chops
1 onion
1 lemon
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1/4 c. water
1/2 c. catsup
Salt & pepper

Brown seasoned pork chops in heavy skillet. Top each pork chop with 1 slice of onion and 1 thin slice of lemon. Sprinkle with brown sugar, add water and catsup. Cover, cook over low heat until tender, about 30 to 40 minutes. Liquid may reduce. Serve at once. Serve with fried apples below.

FRIED APPLES:

3-5 apples, peeled & sliced
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tbsp. butter
Cinnamon

Saute apples in skillet in butter until tender, not too soft, add brown sugar and cinnamon to taste. Heat through. This goes with any pork dish. Serves 4.

I thought this was good. easy to prepare. I thought it needed more seasoning though. I would make these again but add chopped garlic and maybe some bell peppers. Than you
