PEANUT BUTTER CREAM PIE 
1 baked pie shell
1 c. powdered sugar
3/4 c. peanut butter, creamy or chunky

Mix with fork until like coarse meal. Put into bottom of pie shell. Reserve 2 tablespoons for topping.

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. cornstarch
3 egg yolks
1/2 stick butter
3 c. milk
1 pinch salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix sugar, cornstarch, salt and milk. Cook until thick. Beat yolks, add a little hot mixture to yolks, beat then add yolks to cooked filling slowly, stirring as you add. Cook 5 minutes, add butter and flavoring. Pour over peanut butter mixture in pie shell.

Beat egg whites and cream of tartar, vanilla flavor, 1/2 cup of sugar slowly until stiff. Put over top of pie. Bake at 325 degrees until brown.
