MANDARIN ORANGE TOSSED SALAD 
Spinach and head lettuce; equal portions
1 med. red onion, sliced
1 (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges, drained
1 c. celery, chopped
1/2 c. pecans or almonds, toasted
1 c. fresh mushrooms, sliced (opt.)
1 avocado, sliced (opt.)
Bottle of Italian dressing

Fill salad bowl 3/4 full with spinach and lettuce. Add rest of ingredients. Coat with Italian dressing just before serving and mix.
