LONDON BROIL 
2 1/2 to 3 lbs. flank steak
1/4 tsp. Tabasco sauce
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1/4 c. wine vinegar
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 medium onion, sliced
1/2 c. oil
1 tsp. thyme
1 bay leaf
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar

Marinate overnight (everything but the onion) in a long, shallow glass baking dish. Slice onion over the top. Turn occasionally. Pour off marinade. Broil steak 2-inches from heat, 15 minutes on each side. Slice diagonally before serving.
