LONDON BROIL | |
1 to 2 lb. flank steak 2 tsp. chopped parsley 1 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper 1 tbsp. salad oil 1 clove garlic, crushed 1 tsp. lemon juice 1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained (optional) With sharp knife, trim excess fat from steak (if desired). Wipe with damp paper towel. Combine remaining ingredients. Brush half over steak, let stand 45 minutes. Place steak, oil side up, on lightly greased broiler pan. Broil about 4-inches from heat for 5 minutes. Turn steak, brush with remainder of mixture. Broil 5 minutes more. When serving, slice thinly on diagonal across the grain. Submitted by: Kelly |
