"LITE STROGANOFF" | |
1 lb. ground beef or ground turkey 2 tbsp. flour 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1/4 tsp. paprika 1 can cream of chicken soup 1 c. mushrooms, sliced 1/4 c. onion, chopped 1/2 stick butter (light) 1 c. light sour cream 1 can water packed chestnuts Cook mushrooms in butter, adding onions and flour when mushrooms are beginning to tender, then cook all until golden brown. Add meat and dry seasonings, then brown completely. Add water chestnuts and cream of chicken soup. Cook 5 minutes. Add sour cream and simmer to piping hot! Serve on noodles, rice, or toast. Absolute, all time favorite of Renee and Kenn! |
