MEXICAN PIE | |
1 (16 oz.) can refried beans with green chilies, onion & garlic 1 c. biscuit mix 1/4 c. water 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef 1 c. thick & chunky salsa 1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Monterey Jack cheese 1/2 c. commercial sour cream Combine beans, biscuit mix, and water in a medium bowl; mix well. Spoon bean mixture into a lightly greased 9" pie plate to form shell. Set aside. Cook ground beef until browned, stirring occasionally to crumble; drain well. Spoon meat over beans, top with salsa. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese and bake an additional 5 minutes. Cut into wedges. Serve immediately. Dollop with sour cream. |
