BUTTER CREAM ICING 
1 c. butter
2 lb. powdered sugar
1 c. shortening
1/3 c. cold water
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. flavoring

Cream the butter, shortening, salt, and flavoring for 3 minutes. Add the sugar and water. Beat until well blended. Will keep in the refrigerator. Bring to room temperature before icing.
