ITALIAN TARALLA 
1 lb. flour (4 c.)
6 eggs
3 oz. oil
3 oz. sugar
2 1/2 tbsp. baking powder
1 tbsp. lemon extract

ICING:

1 lb. box confectioners' sugar mixed with
A little milk
1 tbsp. lemon extract

Make a well with flour, break in eggs, sugar, oil, lemon extract and baking powder. Mix together by squeezing fingers through dough. (Do not overwork it.) If dough is too soft, add a little more flour. Take nips of dough and roll out to about 7 inches long and the thickness of a large pencil. Twist on your finger to make a spiral. Bake on non-stick cookie sheet for about 10 to 15 minutes at 325 degrees until cookies are a light golden brown.

Make icing. Dip cookies in icing. Place on a plate to cool. Icing will be like a glaze.
