E - Z PORK CHOPS 
4 pork chops
2 c. rice (not minute type)
2 cans beef consomme'
1 c. water
1 tsp. butter
Garlic, basil
Salt and pepper

Brown pork chops in 1 teaspoon butter. Season with garlic, basil, salt and pepper to taste. In a roasting pan combine rice consomme', and water. Stir, then place the pork chops on rice and liquid mixture. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes or until rice is tender. Serves 4.
