HAZEL'S CRUNCHY FUDGE SANDWICHES 
1 (6 oz.) pkg. butterscotch chips
1/2 c. peanut butter
4 c. Rice Krispies
1 tbsp. water
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1/2 c. sifted confectioner's sugar
2 tbsp. soft butter

1. Melt butterscotch chips with peanut butter in heavy saucepan over low heat.

2. Add Rice Krispies, stir until well coated with butterscotch mixture. Press half of cereal mixture into buttered 8 x 8 x 2 pan. Chill in refrigerator while preparing refrigerator mixture. Set remaining cereal mixture aside.

3. Combine chocolate chips, sugar, butter and water in pan. Heat until chocolate melts and mixture is well blended. Spread over chilled cereal mixture. Spread remaining cereal mixture evenly over top press in gently. Chill. Remove from refrigerator for about 10 minutes before cutting into squares.
