ROSE'S CHICKEN A LA CRESCENT 
1/3 c. dry bread crumbs
1/4 c. chopped nuts
1 pkg. (3 oz.) soft cream cheese
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. lemon juice
Pepper to taste
1 c. cooked chicken
1/2 c. mushroom pieces
1 can refrigerated crescent rolls
3 tbsp. melted butter

WHITE SAUCE:

2 tbsp. butter & flour
1 c. milk
1 c. chicken broth
Additional cooked chicken (optional)

Combine bread crumbs and nuts; set aside.

Combine cheese, butter and seasonings; add chicken and mushrooms.

Separate rolls and spread each with 1/4 cup chicken mixture. Dip each roll in melted butter and roll in crumb mixture. Place on ungreased sheet and bake 15-20 minutes at 375 degrees, until browned.

Prepare white sauce with remaining ingredients and pour over top when serving.
