CHERRY LOAF CANDY 
2 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1 sm. bottle cherries
2 heaping tbsp. peanut butter
2 c. pecans, chopped

Cut cherries in small pieces, drain on paper towels and pat dry. Boil sugar, peanut butter, milk and cherry juice until really thick, stirring to avoid sticking. Add pecans and cherry pieces. Beat. Pour on damp cloth and roll as date loaf. Cool in refrigerator for 3 to 4 hours. Remove cloth and slice.
